A reminder to those employers already approved by the Australian Immigration Department as Standard Business Sponsors (SBS) to be mindful of your strict legal obligations. Failure to comply could lead to severe fines and penalties. The following link provides you with a comprehensive list of your legally binding obligations:

Employer Sponsorship Obligations

An important obligation to keep in mind is, if for any reason, the employment relationship between an approved employer sponsor and their 457 visa holder ceases, the sponsor is obligated to report that to the Immigration Department, within 10 days of that occurring.

If you would like more detailed information on your sponsor obligations, please do not hesitate to contact one of our registered consultants at TSS Immigration.
